The Diapason, founded in 1909, is an international journal devoted to the organ, the harpsichord, the carillon, and church music. It regularly includes feature articles, reviews, reports, news, organ specifications, and a calendar, as well as classified advertisements. Directed to a diverse reading audience, articles range from technical and scholarly ones to those of more general interest. Emphasis is given to material dealing with all aspects of the pipe organ.
The American Organist, published monthly by the American Guild of Organists (AGO), is an international journal Serving the organ and choral music fields. It is the official journal of the AGO and the Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America (APOBA). It regularly includes feature articles, reviews, AGO Chapter news, organ specifications, calendar, and positions available listings.
The Theatre Organ magazine is published bi-monthly by the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS), an international non-profit organization, founded in 1955, comprised of worldwide volunteer members who are committed to helping preserve and perpetuate the musical theatre pipe organ heritage that began in the early 20th century. Membership is made up of musicians, technicians, hobbyists, educators, and others who enjoy the music of the theatre pipe organ.
